Born2Move strive to offer fully inclusive movement and dance lessons offering our students opportunities to explore all forms of dance. Our dance classes begin from age 2 through to age 17.

Mini Movers – 2-5 Years
Our mini movers will have the opportunity to explore all dance styles over the duration of their lessons. They will learn beautiful ballet moves as will as taking tumbles on the gym mats. The perfect way to introduce them into the dancing world.

Ballet
Your child will learn how to control flowing patterns and to create expression through movement in the most classical dance form there is.

Gymnastics
In our classes our students develop strength and coordination. Our students will learn skills from tumbling, handstands, backflips to somersaults. These techniques test their flexibility, balance, strength, and control. Everything a dancer could need.

Lyrical
A beautiful combination of movement and lyrics that inspires the dance using a combination of ballet and jazz. Lyrics from a song are used to portray the emotions and story of the song that to dancing is using.

Musical Theatre
Musical theatre teaches performance skills, facial expression, acting and singing. It teaches us to tell a story through a performance of dance, music, speech and song. Many students taking lessons will have a desire to perform on stage, so this class is perfect for them.

Freestyle
Freestyle is the art of improvisation. It is the art of movement without using choreography and using your own form of self-expression.

Tap
This style of dance teaches you to learn rhythm patterns. It also creates a focussed memory for dancers as they need to remember numerous intricate movements.

Contemporary
Contemporary dance is an important part of dance embracing blending techniques of dance together such as ballet, jazz and lyrical dance.
